1NC3? How come this move is never played with white? Often 1nf3 is played why not use the other knight as well as anyone ever played a game with this opening what was your follow up?

It's called dunst in the USA and Van Geet opening in europe I believe. It's playable. If you want see more try to get games from Van Geet, a Dutch player that promoted the opening some time ago

Actually... ... I believe it is officially called Mestrovic opening, after Croatian IM who plays it regularly.
Try his games also!

you might want to.... look at some of the games played by ancampa. He's played many 1. Nc3 games

to answer your question.... Nc3 blocks the c-pawn from advancing which is an often used pawn in the opening, while Nf3 only blocks the f-pawn which is rarely moved in the opening as it is usually used as part of the king's protection.

I play 1.Nc3,but it really has little independent significance,as it's a common developing move in many openings. Usually,a fast transpose back into any # of main line systems is the result.

Beating the Van Geet In the last issue of New in Chess there is an article on a certain line of the Van Geet (1 Nc3 d5 2 e4 Ne4 3 Ne4 Nc6)

um weenink i think you might have made a mistake there how can white move a knight to e4 if black already has one there? Does anyone else have some info on this opening?

Yes a small mistake. should have written 2...de4 instead of 2...Ne4.
Personally I prefer to play 1 Nc3 d5 2 e4 d4 3 Nce2 c5 as black against this opening by the way
