Obama v Clinton Approaching a Prisoner's Dilemma Game?

New polling by Gallup possibly portends huge defections to McCain from the losing side of Obama v Clinton. For Clinton, it's an almost staggering 1/3 of her supporters that would move to McCain just to spite Obama. On the flip side, nearly 1/5 of Obama supporters would defect to McCain.

In other words, the Gallup polling is suggesting Obama v Clinton is approaching a Prisoner's Dilemma Game, and truth be told, this is probably the real Clinton strategy...that is, force a cooperation strategy(enforced by the Hobbesian party) or both players lose. This explains the Clinton Dominant strategy of taking it to the gutter, extolling McCain, throwing out Clinton-Obama trial balloons. In this sense, any discussion about delegates, super-delegates is irrelevant. It's either a Clinton-Obama ticket or the Democrats lose to McCain. That seems to be the game the Clinton's are playing...
