True, if you live in, say, Peoria, IL and want to celebrate Jefferson's birthday in the city by organizing an impromptu dancing, you are likely not to be bothered. But not in our nations capital, where our federal laws are being written and where resides the ultimate arbiter of our judiciary branch. Media stories of homeland security bureaucrats arriving at restaurants under armed security escorts are laughable. Libertarians, how in the world do you think that political reform is possible in zone where the Bill of Rights simply no longer exist? Sooner or later, you will become radicalized...

Yes, here in Peoria, IL, we are allowed to dance and act ridiculous. Actually there are alot of ridiculous people here! Typically, we are able to deal with the weirdness without calling for assistance from the feds. This episode, and the general state of affairs in D.C. make me glad that I live in the midwest. The hope for change is in the states folks. Happy Birthday Mr. Jefferson.
