Got this e-mail from the Campaign for Liberty:

How Do You Rank the Issues?

*1 = Very big issue 2 = Somewhat an issue 3 = Not as much an issue 4 = Not an issue at all

Saving Unborn Babies from Abortion

Defending the 2nd Amendment

Stopping Dangerous ID (i.e. the so-called Real ID scam)

Fighting other Issues - - please describe below

An anti-choice agenda is now a cornerstone for the Campaign for Liberty?

Were you expecting anything else?

Ron Paul's pro-life stance has always been one of his most important issues. He takes a different libertarian view of the issue, and there are plenty of pro-life libertarians out there. Nothing wrong with this, and I'm sure if you asked Ron Paul if he accepts pro-choice people in his movement, he'll say absolutely. (And there are many people who are pro-choice who work for him or who have worked for him who I know personally.)

I've personally become 100% immobile on the issue. I need to do some more consideration before I come to a position. However, as libertarians, we need to work together on the 98% of issues where we agree. I know I sound like a broken record, but it's the only way if we're going to make progress.

As George Phillies said in his concession speech at this year's Libertarian National Convention, "The enemy is not in here; it's out there!"
