Senator Specter of PA has written an opinion piece in the Philadelphia Daily News outlining his opposition to the troop surge. His basic argument: pacifying Afghanistan will do little to reduce the terrorist threat and our allies (from NATO, to Pakistan, to Kharzai)  aren't committed to a winnable strategy.
